Tour 4 - Best Sicily Wine Tour

The tour departs from the dock of the port of Messina or from another agreed point. Pickup time provided by customers. After a quick introduction of Messina through the main roads you reach the Messina / Catania motorway. We reach the Fiumefreddo exit where we will begin the climb towards Etna. Between 500 and 1400 meters above sea level, there are the winemaking areas and vineyards that represent the enology of Etna. Our destination is the Gambino winery, a beautiful example of the Etna vineyards at high altitude, planted with native vines. The temperature changes between night and day allow a phenolic and aromatic maturation essential for the color and taste of red grapes and for the aroma of white wines. Enter the world of wine among high altitude vineyards and local flavors. We have worked hard to create the perfect location to give you the pleasure of discovering wine, starting from the place of many different landscapes and accompanying it with typical gastronomic delights. It is the place to discover the pleasure of Etna wines and the extraordinary character of the volcano. Typical local food products are offered during the tasting. We return to Messina making a short stop at a panoramic point of Messina where there is a monument / Mausoleum with bronze statues (Sanctuary of Christ the King) and then we stop in the Cathedral of Messina, where the largest astronomical and astrological clock in the world stands. The tour includes drinks, fanta, coke, sprite and free wifi. Restaurants, tips and entrance fees to museums are excluded.
